hi all

i have just started getting into modding/servicing my cupra 180 but dont know much about mechanics ect.. does anyone know where i can get info/pics/diagrams of diferent parts so i can get an understanding of it all

"whats, what" info.. over the last few years i've lost out on so much money due to being ripped off with cars as i never no what im looking at.. now ive got myself a decent cupra i am wanting to learn about the engine/turbo/ecu ect in regards to maintnance/modding so any info or pics would be grateful

Well if you ever have any specific questions uv come to the right place... i've learnt so much from this forum already. Regarding the diagrams i have only got access to Etka so its hard to give u a range of diagrams as they are broken down into such detail.

There maybe a site that you can use that provides images similar to etka but im not sure of the address. I have seen it posted recently but can't remember.

Maybe someone else will be able to help with this?

Might be worth researching to which Haynes manual you can use with your car, they don't do a Leon specific one, but you can use Golf ones.

For example, I used the Golf/Bora one for my TDi SE 110.

I have a coolant leak in the piping.. Does anyone have a coolant system diagram so i can establish what pipe the steam/leak is coming from

Haynes manuals will cover engine, gearbox, running gear, braking and (to a great extent) electrics: Interior details will be different and bodywork is obviously not the same.

I think the site you're meaning is vagcat.com, the catalogue section has been broken on there for a good few weeks now

There is a Russian version though (got to love Google translate)
