Pollen filter, is it worth changing?

Did this last week and really did make a difference. The one I pulled out was almost black and covered with small debris. Airflow into the cabin is so much better now. Well worth doing considering a filter is like £7 and only take 15mins.

And make sure that its correct put back as well, otherwise you might end up having a flooded footwell with rain.
I also used an air con cleaner to get rid of all the bacteria, smells nice too.

Could be that when your pollen filter was changed the rubber surround and cover weren't replaced properly. The plastic case needs to sit underneath the rubber strips or you'll end up with water in the cabin filter box and it will leak into the car. I suspect if you go check after its rained and you find water in the cabin filter case (ie sat underneath the filter) then this is your cause. If you check and don't find any indication of water and the seal is made properly, its probably your door seals leaking because the plugs are blocked.
