lol i just want to be sure lol, already wasted what £88 on this maf can't afford a new one till the end of the month

sam i want to see pics of that cone filter fitted tomorrow then! you will love it :D

not tried disconnecting it yet worth a shot i suppose won't do any damage no?

With the MAF unplugged it will also disable your traction control (TC light will be on permanently) and the car runs slightly richer to keep the engine safe.

I ran mine with it unplugged for about a month before lol.

No issues otherwise, once you get the new maf just plug and go, TC light will go out again.

Could well be mate turn it round and you'll see the pipes probably not on properly ;)

Check the vac pipes under the manifold - prone to splitting and are not easily visible.

you can exchange a faulty genuine bosch MAF for a new one from GSF and it's around £70 ish, I'm going to do this soon.

I have this same fault code, its comes factory standard.

might sound a bit against the grain here but try using your old standard DV for a while, clear your codes and see if it returns.

I have just the other day and it has stopped it returning so far!
