Hi, I got loads of white wax somehow on the door protectors, whats the best way to take it off?

There is another way of getting rid of it.

Rub it with a (pencil) rubber. I use it all the time and it is very effective. :D

It might be colouring it in if you use the pencil rather than the rubber? I'm assuming he's suggesting using the bit that erases mistakes?

I am also interested in this, as there have been many occasions where I've caught a plastic piece and been left with a smear. I've not yet found out how to get to rid of it.

Completely missed that. My bad.

Peanut butter certainly worked for me. I also tried a dedicated wax remover which did nothing at all.

Meguiars Endurance tyre gel works great on all plastic surfaces. Covers up polish smears and last for ages too.

Yes, but it's also an evil grease created by a warlock who find it amusing when we have to throw foam applicator pads in the bin rather than risk using them EVER AGAIN. Other than that, I find it very effective. :)

IPA will also get rid of it, but that means buying distilled water and isopropynol and mixing it.. peanut butter is probably cheaper and easier to get hold of. You could also use peanut oil as its that content in the peanut butter which actually does the work.
