Little update to this,

My bro went to the local Seat dealer and confirmed it is a LCR, it's just a very early one and therefore doesn't have Brembos, apparently they only came on later ones....

Lies - all UK LCR's had brembo's without exception.

they all had brembos mate, how many people have to say this before you believe it.

Sorry.

if it was a UK LCR it would have had brembos, early ones or late ones.. it was standard on UK cars from the start.

However if it was imported/sourched abroad this may explain things.

Alternatively there was an accident or problem which meant the brakes were replaced and the price of brembos mean they went for the cheaper option.

nope i went to local seat dealer and gsve them my reg number the never came with brembos its down on there system as not having brembos the car was built in 2002 and was reg in 2004 the man there seemed to think this had something to do with it i dont know why all i know is that it never had them to start with and that is not a import one its uk spec.

well ill quite give you my reg and vin num and you can go and ask and get the same answer if you like ? but that is what they have told me i dont see what they would gain from lieing to me ?. i dont really care tbh the car is still an lcr and just as quick, looks nice so meh it has everything else and i would of upgraded my brakes anyway so not a big problem for me,

haha yes i agree with this one seems like the best explation for this i think

Ultimately, if you were going to take them off and upgrade them anyway, what's the harm? Apart from the £600 you could've raised by selling them on afterwards

just to add a bit more to this i have a cupra r 210 52 plate and it hasant got brembo's either its a full uk spec not a import deffo a genuine lcr got the recaro interior, just strange how mine hasant got them either

just to check we have still not seen any pics? yet post some up side shot of front and rear wheel

the rear brakes look like standard just the fronts your talking about that actually say brembo are you sure the writing has not just come off/faded

sounds like the previous owner sold them tbh tight ward and replaced with standard crap

ive uploaded a few pics sorry about quality but it is dark lol

But if it was an import wouldn't it be left hand drive?
