Hi guys done a search,

anyone any tips or tricks for changing door mirrors or some sort of guide? My driverside one is busted and need to replace it.

Hi Davey, I'm not 100% sure if its the same for all Mk2 Leon's but I have the face-lifted version (2009 '59>on) and to remove the glass simply stick a flat-bladed screwdriver behind it and gently prise it off.

To remove the cover/painted bit, you should see 5 or 6 clips once you've removed the glass, and basically pull the cover off with one hand whilst unclipping it with the other.

As to removing the full mirror, the bit its attatched to the door by, you will probably have to remove the doorcard/inner trim and unbolt the base from the inside and disconnect the wiring.
