Looking forward to seeing your bay take shape mate, with 300 you need to show it off ;) mani will be nice addition.

I'm looking at gauges but not sure if it's worth it on mine really but a few are fitting recently and getting tempted, so I'm sure you will tip the scale once I see pics!!

Good luck with the mapping out, fingers crossed it's all sorted. I have been looking into the sps switch... If I had waited a month for my revo I could of got the switch for the same price I paid for just the map with the £100 off offer :(

Haha, cheers tyrer!! I have been meaning to get the bay progress going as the weather has been good for a bit now. But 1st I need my main other shiny part installed :)

I'll post pics up on Friday of the developments. I hope I don't convince you to spend money but sometimes these things just happen!

I'm hoping they can map it out but by reading 8bit's post below, I'm not so sure now. I'll be putting it to them and showing them the exact code's before they touch my car on Friday to talk it through..

Sorry to hear you missed the offer! I'm sure they'll do it again. I will probably go REVO by the time the year is out. But the car feels so quick at the moment it makes me think do I really want to tinker with the settings?!

Tom, B1 S1 is the pre-cat lambda, I'm not sure that one can be mapped out... it's usually the post-cat one that gets mapped out as it's just there to check correct cat converter operation. The pre-cat one is what works out if the fuelling is accurate? Unless they have another way of monitoring fuelling in the map then you'd be as well to have that sensor replaced.

Cheers for the post 8bit. I'm sure your right the 1st one works out if fuelling is accurate or not. I'll put it to them on Friday and let you know how it goes whether it can be mapped out or if not, if I need a physical sensor replacement..

Either way I'm looking forward to Friday! Just want the car to have some treats again :D

t0m good luck hope they sort it out friday keep us updated i replaced my precat lambda sensor after AMD said to do so just after the map not cheap but looks like you might have to do the same, yours is strange in a way as no EML light flashes on but good that you don't have all that hassle to deal with! the EML light should be mapped out already, your setup would suggest this is working fine, just a faulty sensor i expect or low reading

tyrer if your running a revo map who ever set it up for you should of road tested the car and adjusted the settings accordingly to the best setup available for your car, check my thread for the settings, in theory you shouldn't need the SPS controller at all :) only to play around with it, but if its been done properly you shouldn't need to touch it

Thanks James :)

I'll let you know how it goes with the precat lambda sensor. I do want it all cleared up soon so whether I come away with the fault still there but needing the spacer, then I'll order it. So long as it's fixed soon I'll be happy. Just want the car fault free.

I know it's weird how I've not had an EML light but guessing this is mapped out, I've never had one since the map went on relating to the lamda trouble.

3 days at work to go. Can't wait to get down there now!

Ask them if that knock sensor fault code is down to the timing of the remap the ECU’s knock correction value should not be set to excessive.

I am going to ask them mate don't worry.
My bet is it's wiring somewhere from what I've read up. But until they've had a look and pinpointed it I won't rule out anything even the map.

I wish I was getting more done this Friday though! Always the way

UPDATE - The LCR is fire breathing once more!!

Just a quick note as I'm off out in a few mins, but basically today I went to AmD to get my cars fault codes sorted out, polished mani fitted and boost/oil temp gauges fitted.

1st thing. Boost gauge I am a wire short somewhere so this couldn't be fitted.. I'll look into this more tomorrow but the wiring which runs from the back of the gauge through the bulkhead to bay wasn't there? Even though I thought it was! Bit of a bummer but anyway..

Polished mani is fitted and when that came out it revealed an issue I didn't know about... injector seal no.3 was leaking.. So I'd be wasting a small bit of petrol into the bay for a while! God knows how I haven't smelt this upto now. AmD got onto TPS and I had all 4 seals replaced while mani was out. Sorted! Mani in and looks the dogs! No time to get pic on photobucket to link but here is link on my fb, if your not my friend then sorry don't think you can see it, but others have seen it already.. Got to put the other manifold ready to go on ebay or to someone on here. It'll be good for anyone wanting to do what I've done and get another manifold polished up, get it fitted, then sell your old one too. :)

http://www.facebook.com/tdizzle3 - it's near the top of my page :)

So now for the lambda sensor - new one fitted. Not cheap but the fault has gone and is not coming back. I've driven the car since clearing the codes and all good!!

Knock sensor 2 code has vanished since lambda one is done but AmD are getting this in for next week. I may leave it though if the code doesn't come back.

Then the annoying part.. drive home and car felt brilliant, gave it some 5th gear moderate boost on the M25 near my turn off and BOOM goes a lower fmic boost hose :(
Car was cutting out and all sorts! Hazards on and over to the hard shoulder!
Rung AmD and Shaun + Steve both come to my rescue, I 1st disconnected the MAF so the car stopped cutting out and limped it off the motorway nearer Orpington.. then Shaun pulls up infront and we end up chatting BTCC etc while Steve from AmD fixed the lower fmic hose. Result and top top customer service. Really pleased with them for going out their way and making sure I the customer was happy with the car.

Lesson for me is - always get beaded piping on your fmic! Anyone looking to buy one please take note!!

I said this would only be a short update but looks like the day was a bit more event filled than seemed.

So so so happy with the car now though, it's booming along and feels so smooth. Injector seal no.3 leak would have caused rough/lumpy feel for sure so I'm so happy all 4 have been replaced now.

If I don't need the knock sensor done then it's onto either getting my lower fmic hosing beaded OR buying a Forge fmic, who knows! I also asked about the Superpro bushing kit today and really want that badly now sounds so good and the price is still decent so defo getting that done.

For now that's all, I'm going out and get to give the beast a good blast to my mates! :D

love a happy ending wipes tear from his eye

 Cheers Lee! I'm glad the story ended with a happy ending.

Very eventful day then Tom. I seen the pic of the mani on Fb, looks mint mate!

Thanks Nick! :)
It's a bit grubby now and just needs a good buff up, but I'm off to DK's on Sunday so fingers crossed it'll look a bit more mint then.

Mad day it was for you then. Good to hear your all happy with it mate :)

Cheers bud :)

Yeah pretty happy with it now. It's just nice to get some good things done to the car because it was starting to get neglected and running rough.

Great news Tom! The service that you got from AMD is exactly why I keep taking my car back to them :).

Totally agree... It speaks volumes about how much they care about their customers. This is why my car is booked in for the end of the month for a full, even though it's a 2 & 1/2 hour round trip.

I've been meaning to get my cars service there for a while but never actually did. My new LCR can with 5 years of AmD / big boy toys service history, i felt it would be rude not to continue the AmD service history.

Is it wrong that im excited about a service?
