Just noticed how dark it got in the space of 10 mins! And excuse the patchwork editing, thats the best I could do without blanking all the light out haha!

Yeah they do look good, finishes it off as all the other lights were white except those.Yeah I wouldn't mind that.. I was looking into installing puddle lights but looks like a LOT of effort just for some small lights!

Yeah I tried turning them in towards the car a bit further, but then they don't cover the sides/middle of the plate, only the letters directly below. So lighting the road up it will need to be

Fair enough.. I wouldn't have bothered either! Lol. I nearly did too.. I was pulling out the little cover and the whole black surround was coming with it! Managed to push it back in and snap it into place though

No mate. Its still running in theory, but only around 10% of what it normally does. Runs alot smoother and less smokey too! Don't get the shudder at certain revs either
Quick update from the last waxing session.
Been raining quite hard on and off recently, with a mixture of hail stones thrown in. Car was washed today, and theres still good beading from the wax I'm going to try keep my eye on it, but its still going strong just now.

I've got this on my car, kinda geeky but i like it lol. I'm going to try and get my vagcom working tomorrow defo. If i do get it working i'm going to try and reduce the egr valve, not sure how to do this so might give you a pm if that's ok?
Haha. I only done it because I always check its locked after pressing the button.. atleast now I'll hear it

Mick, you wouldn't happen to know if the EGR can be turned down on a 2003 A6 1.9 TDI PD130 do you?
My dad has been wanting to do this to his for a while, but between his web searching and mine, we've not been able to find out if it is possible or not on A6s.
