Yes its very mild compared to robdf2 and what he went through. However not good enough. Id like to hear from whoever had it before

Would you describe the badges as 'urban camo'? Pretty sure I saw a readers ride thing on here where the lad had painted the badges camo. You can't really blame him though, SEAT should have double checked under the bonnet etc. Once the person hands the car back to the garage, it's not their responsibility!

I was lied to by the dealership where I bought my FR from, so it doesn't really surprise me that other people have had problems lol

A quick summary, suspension, remap, anti roll bar, induction kit, revised DV.

I'd check the suspension fixings before driving again (if you can't fit an airbox properly.... can you fit suspension properly?)

Sounds like a classic case of stripping all the valuable mods off the car before the trade in. Often done in a rush but SEAT should have spotted most of this stuff.

Sounds mild compared to robdf2 being honest. Still not good though.

im famous for all the wrong reasons lol

i think if she had someone a bit savy with her then perhaps she wouldnt have bought the car inthe first place but sometimes hearts rule heads.
i have to say im amazed at how bad dealers really are , because they have to pay a franchise fortune and decorate their showrooms to seat spec they somehow think thats all they need to do !
my locall dealer is an absolute shocker (will be named and shamed with the list of calamities they have done)

my car went for a service the other day and was returned to me with 2 blown bulbs ? wtf? it was fine when it went in , then there were all the observations , under tray cracked they say i have hit something hard? well its been like that for over a year broken by them on a service , broken air box they refused to replace even though its been ff my car more times than jordans bra !
my intercooler pipe o ring is leaking oil that will be £60 please sir , errrrrrr second wordis off you robbing bastar*s , £125 to check my cam follower ! wtf? 20 mins work max oh and my warranty only recently expired , funny how all these problems occur once thats gone !
they charge £105 an hour labour !

good luck with your refund to the op
tbh the only category this forum is missing is the "beware of dealer x" category
at least **** turpin told you that you were going to be robbed!

Yep thats the car. Im not blaming him at all, just things the dealer should of picked up and sorted during the in-inspection?

Some times the dealer doesnt always know best. When i bought my MK1 LCR the dealer tried telling me it was a 225. Till i pointed out the steering wheel, but more important the build sticker in the boot confirming it was a 210. Oh and the year it was made 03, 225's were 53 onwards im led to believe

Yeah exactly, the dealers just seem to want to make a quick sale rather than make sure the car is 100% right. They are more interested in selling you optional shite than anything else.

Hope you get the car sorted mate

Just to update. The car has been back with the dealer for 2 days now and still no word to whats going on. There probably still looking for the ipod dock under the drivers seat that was never there

Reading your opening Post, was expecting your update (above) to be - thats it - car gone forever!
However sounds like the Dealer is still trying to sort a few things out?

Had a read through the previous owner RR Thread. Looks like the guy did have best intentions for the car, infact spent quite alot of money on it. But as you state, perhaps a bit of a rush job to take his expensive Mods back off, before he Part-X'ed it for the Subaru.

The Camo "S" badges was taking it down the wrong path tho' ! :D
