Bizzare, that's the 4th person who say's they've got the chirp sound, why on earth have I got a double beep from the 'alarm horn' ......

I've followed the same guide here:

http://www.seatcupra.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=553&Itemid=6

LOCK/UNLOCK CHIRP

This one is ILLEGAL in the UK! It is classified as a nusicance, which is why it is disabled by default. Change it at your own risk. It basically makes your alarm/horn (depending on your car model) sound every time you lock or unlock your car. It helps you know that your car is locked properly, and also lets potential theives in the nearby area that your car has an alarm.

* Open Up VAG-COM, and goto "Select Control Module"
* Select module 46 - "Central Convenience"
* In the Advanced Options section, click on Adaptation - 10
* Open Channel 6. This is the UNLOCK chirp. To enable it, change value from 0 to 1 and press "save".
* Open Channel 7. This is the LOCK chirp. To enable it, change value from 0 to 1 and press "save".
* Close the controller, and close VAG-COM.

Another for chirp here - but I didnt use VAGCOM but that polish (or was it czech) bit of software that was linked in this forum that did the windows open/close with the remote. You could use it to do a couple of things with CC module etc. If it works with you CC model number then might be worth giving that a try? Not sure I would want my horn going off, as its quite a bit louder than the chirp.

Car's late 2002 with the later twin prong inlet manifold AUQ engine (that last of the pre-facelifts) if it was 3 months younger It would have been a face-lift

My car horn didn't work until I changed it recently, however the alarm horn worked which is a horn beep when it goes off

Hmm, I would say that the chirp on yours then is going To be the horn. Mine 03, last off, and the alarm is a siren not the horn. Possibly?
