where does you car stand with warranty?? im guessing your engine warranty would be voided due to the mods?

Post your time'slips up'then guys and ill add you to the list. Jasin your time matches my best, althiugn from what I gather times were better today. There's no way a std polo gti would match that time. Well they werent when I was there on saturday anyhow, although conditions werent as good as todays from what i gather

Does sound as if something is not right there mate. My standard one recorded a 14.666 1/4
Where though, the std polo on saturday was in the 15s at bruntingthorp although that was damp and windy. From what I gather today was good conditions

Yeah but thread is 1.4TSi exclusive, can't have dirty diesels messing it up.
For those that don't know it was 7.9 sec 0-60 and 15.866 1/4mile. But I do have to drive normally and change gear myself
NickP of briskoda in his stage 2 de-dpf managed a 6.5 0-60 iirc low 15 as well. Ful interior as well.
Was col for us as well, just head wind and sporadic rain really, im well and truly hooked now though lol.The surface at bruntingthorp isn't the best, its like a pavement lol. The guys I was there with were around 1/2 second plus off their santa pod times

the 6 second runs were in the wet, so still impressed, but frustrated i couldnt get into the 13s. Still chuffed to be within half a second of the best times the 330-360Hp leon cupra and stripped out Ed30 managed. I would have been 3rd in pretty much all the normal FWD classes on saturday in both the 1/4 times and 0-60.
Anyone open their bonnets after a few runs. i couldnt touch my engine cover it was so hot. thinking of getting hat wrap for the exhaust to stop the engine bay getting so hot
