The driveability will not be so good turbo won't come in whilst 5k an hold on the rev range to around 8.5k with around 28-30psi, i intend in future make a 2.1 which will be a better car day to day i intended to do this now when ive run the engine for a year or so. I have a new VW Fox 1.2 for day to day driving which i will keep standard so will only use the golf for weekends.

Thanks, i have done pretty much everything no one has put a hand on it as yet so if it dosnt run i know who to blaime The TT looks good id like to see that!

Only a small update, till next week when the engine gets mated with the gearbox for the first time an in the 4mo.
So got some vacuum now brake servo will run staight from one an other will be for vacuum manifold to keep it all tidy.

All done, just more sanding then polishing.

Cheers, just been caging the engine bay right now hopefully the engne fits if not ill be modifying the strut brace alittle before paint i am not running a cross member so will have to brace the legs together to. Anyway a couple of photos to keep my thread going hopefully its up to scratch for you lot.

i have other commitments with my unit im doing up for body shop, i cannot no longer keep an on going project i also have 7 other cars which have to go. It wont keep me for long i just bought an S4 which ill have big plans for in the winter when works not so great but been real busy an needs must have to much work on
