As you can probably tell from the amount of pictures, I'm over the moon with the results. Tidied up the engine bay no end and has really made it look much nicer.

Thanks, I only gained a very few hp's from the water injection, what it did do though is enable the torque/power to be pushed to max, all the way up to the redline. The mods looks very very nice, cheers.
How much hp did you gain with your snowperformance? Thinking on getting one for my mk5.
Thanks MateyLovely car, really like what you have done with it.
Again, ThanksWow! Just found this thread. Car looks great with some sweet mods.
I have actually changed from the Matte Black wheels now. The problem I had was with the lacquer, because it was a 'wet lacquer' it was permanently porous, when the wheels were first fitted they tyre sealant/lube that helps the tyre to be fitted was absorbed by the lacquer and actually stained it. The company took them back in and stripped them off and used a more conventional 2pack lacquer, this has added a bit of sheen to the wheels. It's called 'Silk Black' I'll try and get some close up photos of them, but photos never do the wheels justiceCan you do me a fav mate? send or upload some more pics of the wheels... i currently have yellow with anthercite grey wheels, but i dont like how 'shiny' they are if thats the right word lol... yours looks sweet with the matte black...
cheers

Paulie..
I was looking to go gloss black, but I'm so glad I didn't now, the 'Silk' colour is a strange colour, its almost a matte with a smooth layer on the top if that makes sense?
The 'Matte Effect' is created when the top layer/lacquer isn't even, thats what gives it the uneven look and is almost rough to touch. Gloss on the other hand is where the lacquer is as smooth as physically possible, this gives depth/shine to the paint underneath. Silk seems to be a roughly applied lacquer stage, as its not perfectly smooth so it gives the look of matte in some lights then gloss in others. I'll go out now and take some pics and see if I can get the effect
Paulie..
Thanks, you really think the FR alloys are better? I'm personally not a great fan of the original FR wheels. I had been searching high and low for some Leon FR+ Alloys. They look exactly the same as LCR alloys but come in 17'' version, but as I couldn't find any, the Cupra ones got the refurb instead
Paulie..
Looking good, looks like you've made a good job of the vinyl too. How much did you pay for the grills, have been looking at getting mine done at some point?
