Its been a while...
Well the Leon is now 4 years young

.1 Leon was mot'd last week -pass!

.2 I did a alignment check and had some minor adjustments to make a few months back - happy days!

.3 timing belt, fuel filter and pollen filter will be done tonight

A few months back I bought some wheels from the facelift mk2 Leon cupra to try and freshen up the look...

These were never properly fitted to the car but a decision was made to sell these despite how much I loved them! :(

I have stuck with the Leon and have started to enjoy the car again.

I ran team dynamic pro race 1.2s with toyo 888 tyres down the 1/4 mile which were borrowed from a good mate ;) cheers manny

Just recently toy'd with the idea of buying a set for myself from dans car but decided against it.

Over all still got the Leon :)

Ibiza is also now 1 year old.

1. Kept an eye on the oil level as it uses a fair amount

2. Had its first service done at 6.5k miles

3. The car was fitted with h&r springs and the rear anti roll bar which not only improved the looks but help stabilise the rear during fast corners. These have been on for about 3k now.

4. Fitted the iPod kit

5. Got some winter wheels and tyres (16" speedline tt wheels, nankang sv2 winters in 195 55 16) the wheels were painted gloss black by another mate - cheers bud!

long overdue leon pic update

well both cars were cleaned etc today with the leon getting a quick werkstatt acrylic spray too

different and new location for my pics too

to be continued....

Good pics min, white cars need looking after but your hard work pays off, that Leon looks mint :)

Cheers guys.

Poor update really but oh we'll...

I prepared for the snow etc after how bad it was last year and got myself some r32 reps as winters.

I refurbished them myself and fitted my winter tyres etc. had them on the car for about a month and never liked them too much at all. Despite the offset being 100x better (et42)

This week these were stripped down and the wheels were sold after purchasing some original seat wheels. I will get these fitted doo and post some much better pics.

Both the Leon and Ibiza are currently filthy, which isn't like me but it's far too cold :(

When I saw you selling those on Eastside I thought they might have looked quite good on your Leon but seeing the photo now I'd probably agree with you. Might have been better in a different colour, black or gunmetal maybe. Funny how you think some wheels might look good on other cars, I often thought Mk1 LCR wheels would look good on a Mk4 R32 but found a photo online once and they really don't.
