My new seat Ibiza mk3

im new to this forum stuff !

so i just bought a seat Ibiza mk3 1.4 cool/s for £900 sounds cheap but i think i may have a bargain..
its only covered 56,000 miles for a x reg car that is pretty dawn good. ive just booked it in for a service which im pretty scared of as my last car was pretty pricey in the servicing area...
it has some small mods on it already i will put up some photos when i know how to ?? if anyone can help me that would be amazing as i wont to show you all my car as this is new to me

ahaha could bee but ive been driving it and apart from the small hole in the exhaust it's driving perfectly.. however i have that stupid radio on/off thing going on.. its driving me crazy!!

the back tinted lights and back windows.. i did not do this came like it.. looks nice though a good tint too

get some alloys (hopefully cupra ones)
coil overs

full stainless steel exhaust system
get my old head unit in the car some how so i have iPod connectivity

Nice colour, you can mount the stereo in the shelf below the steering column and just take a live from the battery through the bulk head, earth it under the dash somewhere and extend the speaker wires from the standard head unit. There's various alloys on ebay and other sites.

Seems as though you've grabbed yourself a bargain at £900 for a tidy car with no milage on it for it's age. My girlfriend had an X reg Polo 6n2 (Which is what this ibiza is based on) with full history and about 45k miles on aswell, what a coincidence lol.
Like the tints and like the plans you have for the car. Seems weird that it's not a cupra because almost every Mk.3 on SCN is! Good to see a normal one ;P

yea i was looking at a cupra ibiza mk3 however the insurance is soo high i think i was quoted £3,500 for the year which is stupid!! i will work my way up as im thinking of trading upp every year soo this next year i could be showing a cupra

yea ive seen some other mk3 with this done i think ill have to check it out as ive had enough of this radio draining my battery turning on and off with out me in the car!!.. ill have a look at a audio car place near me that do things like this and see what they quote me i have the unit so it shouldn't be much Fingers crossed..

Yeah I'm in the same same situation, was looking at a cupra but can't afford the insurance so settled on the 1.4...

Just had the service done which all went well...however the clutch is on its way out... soo thats £250 before ive even started on improving the look of it
I had my fingers crossed to hope that it went through like a dream so i could sort out the radio on/off business

Like people have said, unusual to see a mk3 coming onto the forum and not being a cupra.

I wouldnt mind a Cupra but I have to commute to work everyday so it would be much more expensive to run.

Look forward to seeing the car progress.
