mick-fr's Old Ibiza FR TDi.... Now Megane F1 R26! (Pg10)

Well a little update - Passed MOT yesterday with no advisories :)

Unfortunately I doubt there will be many more mods appearing, except if a standard part needs replaced :( All my extra cash is going here...

Good news on the mot :) mines is'nt due till the end of novemeber, should pass first time i would like to think. I knew/know a guy that does the flying lessons at prestwick airport, it's VERY expensive!

Thanks mate :) Yeah your's should be fine.. looks a well looked after car :p

Tell me about it lol. I thought my driving lessons were expensive at £19p/h, my flying lessons (Inc landing fee) are £167p/h! :headhurt:

Yeah it is, pulls very well (Only went up to 70), loads of grip too. Build quality seems pretty good tbf, I know when you think Renault you think "sh*t", but it's not actually that bad. No creaks whatsoever when I had it out, and much quieter and better ride than my Ibiza :)

Edit: Well quieter drive, you do hear the exhaust though haha.

I like that a lot tbh. Wish i could get a fast petrol :cry: Weekend of detailing then ha ha? No doubt the dealer will have done a crap job of 'valeting' it

Thanks :) It would have been, but I'm going upto Dundee so a nice driving weekend :p The inside is spotless tbh, and the outside pretty clean too - But looks dirty because of the rain/spray etc :(
 
First mods, de-bagdge the 'megane' on the hatch and remove the decals? Get another rr set up for it ha ha

Might debadge the Megane part, but it's not annoying me yet so will leave it for now haha. The decals? Nooo lol.. They are staying :p

I will haha.. Not much progress just now though, only had it 3 hours :lol:
