Went to Goodwood with a mate in his Porsche GT3 RS....wow is the only thing I can say, he's a pro race driver and have to say I've never experienced anything like it before. I managed to get my car to the pit lane but not on track as it was a Mercedes private day. Here's a couple of pictures:
All that aside, yesterday I sat down with my mate, mid afternoon (3PM) and after deciding that we had nothing to do I thought let's start the turbo conversion lol!
Started going very well until we rounded off one of the manifold to head nuts

spent the rest of the evening trying to remove it with a dremel, very hard to get any angle on the nut with the cutting disc because the stud/ manifold/ head is in the way. We will resume tonight and see what else can be done. Also bought a nut splitter to see if I can crack the remains of the nut.

Finally got the nut off after grinding down the bottom of it with the dremel, took the manifold off and then removed the turbo, called it a night after that.
