Finally the S4 MAF sensor
Just ordered this:
There are 2 plugs for the ECU one larger than the other, the larger plug (T121) I tapped into pin 35 wire (they're all labelled with increments of 5) which is grey & blue for the throttle position sensor.
The other plug I tapped into pin 102 wire for the RPM this wire is black & blue
Now I haven't tested my connections yet as it got dark and I need to install the controller and connect it to a laptop to read RPM and TPS, I will do this tomorrow, but for now don't take it to be correct.

Helix 6 Paddle clutch with sprung centre plate. Having my G60/ ABF flywheel lightened to around 14lbs at the moment which should mate nicely with the Helix clutch kit.
Now we had a few problems with this flywheel - it's an ABF or G60 flywheel, the studs/ dowels which are on it were a bit wonky so the cover plate didn't seat on it nicely. We ended up drilling the hole slightly bigger to allow the studs to fit through.

and taking advice from RobbieC I threadlocked the bolts and secured them with extra nuts;
I haven't done the rear engine one yet because the manifold and turbo look like they're blocking it a lot, therefore I'll do this when I take the turbo off for the conversion.
This really helps secure the front end of the car between gears there's less movement and a mod well worth doing.

Went to Goodwood with a mate in his Porsche GT3 RS....wow is the only thing I can say, he's a pro race driver and have to say I've never experienced anything like it before. I managed to get my car to the pit lane but not on track as it was a Mercedes private day. Here's a couple of pictures:
All that aside, yesterday I sat down with my mate, mid afternoon (3PM) and after deciding that we had nothing to do I thought let's start the turbo conversion lol!
Started going very well until we rounded off one of the manifold to head nuts
spent the rest of the evening trying to remove it with a dremel, very hard to get any angle on the nut with the cutting disc because the stud/ manifold/ head is in the way. We will resume tonight and see what else can be done. Also bought a nut splitter to see if I can crack the remains of the nut.
Pictures will probably follow tonight.
Finally got the nut off after grinding down the bottom of it with the dremel, took the manifold off and then removed the turbo, called it a night after that.

Time for a little update, turbo is all fitted now and it's been mapped. It's not yet finished on the mapping side of things but here's a few pictures to keep you lot happy
Downpipe had to go down first as it's so tight the manifold can't go on before it
Wideband lambda for the Zeitronix AFR gauge
Some fire proof silicone sleeving on the coolant/ oil lines down the back of the bay too
Heat wrapped exhaust
That's all that I had backed up from my previous thread. I guess it's most of it
Currently I'm waiting to get a free weekend to get back on the rollers and get some figures now that all the hardware is holding up.

I enjoyed it too, I agree and I think it's better and a lot cleaner to read now.
Last time I went on the rollers it was the loudest there by some way and I didn't make the figures I should of with a failing actuator. There's another video that a mate has of my car driving past hopefully get that up too.
