Was bored this evening so decided to get the leather seats out and give them a clean.

Back rest and headrest cleaned with AG Interior cleaner and dressed with AG Leather care balm:

Before (left) and after (right):

Both done:

I then placed one of them in the car to see how they look:

Which lead me to see that the front bolt mount needed flattening:

So i employed my friend 'The persuader' :

Flattened:

They came up a treat after the clean and look really well in the car!

Get the rails made up asap :)

They really did! They were quite dirty before but came up really well im really impressed!

There are still a few small marks on them, so i think im still going to get some leather dye on them then they'll look brand new!

They're really comfortable too i had a little sit in the drivers side when it was in the car.

Does anybody know if Dodo Juice born slippy and Iron X is concentrate or dilute? Had a look on the back but it didn't say

Also got my steel today and i've done some of the holes.

Chris what did you do about the stump that comes out of the bottom of the chair? Drill a hole for it or cut it off?

Also went to a family friends today and he had this absolutely mint Mk2 and i fell in love with it:love:

Getting very very close now with the seats, just need to drill 4 10mm holes for the original bolts to go into car.

Only problem is all my drill bits are very blunt after drilling 2 holes, and i cant be bothered buying more!

Got some new drill bits and some oil to lubricate the holes and it worked a treat.

Got all the holes drilled and now the seats are 100% in.
Hopefully Chris will get some good photos at next sunday's meet!

Snapped about 5 drill bits and did this!
