right when i got the car the throttle pedal felt a bit on the light side and got hear some hissing from the engine bay so i taught a boost leak , look at all major hoses no joy , so i used my ear and noise was coming from the near charge pipe

took the charge pipe off to find this

a small hole , luckyily had my s3 charge pipe in the shed so swap them and throttle pedal felt much better nd car felt much quicker :)

 good to see you back in a SEAT mate. Good to hear you got your hands on a decent one. Is there any indication as to whats made the hole in the charge pipe?
Just an observation but I'm not keen on the SEAT sport sticker on the front and you definately need a new plate, just my opinion. I hope this last longer than the S3 for you :)

my plans are modest , i want to achieve 270bhp and about max 290 ft/lbs of torque and concentarting on handle more than power the car is quite quick as standard to be honest

so future plans,

engine

fmic (hopefully graham will sell me his)
cat back exhaust
change boost hoses to yellow silicone
oil catch can
stage 2

handling

s3 strut brace(already have not fitted)
poly bushes all round
weitec coilovers
r32 front arb
nuespeed rear arb

neither am i don't like the stickers on the front will get it remove when get full respray for £600 getting it done cheap because the guy done 2 cars 4 me before , s3 was a massive shame the engine was good but seemed everything wasn't so i cut my losses and broke it made my money back and some . in regards to plates they will go for evo 8 style and the bumper ot self near the fog lamp

Good luck with this one dude. Liking the route your taking. I decided to do the major handling mods first before upping the power. List of mods look spot on, similar to mine. What size you thinking for the rear arb? I have the neuspeed 25mm rear arb and have it on the hardest setting. Find it to compliment the front r32 arb well

Going to use it on the track too?
Theres nothing better than pushing it round bends knowing you made it able to
Uprating brakes too?
That charge pipe does look like it been drilled, deliberate port for something like boost gauge?

Good luck mate, all been said really above I'd just add brakes and pro race 2 alloys to your list, I think they work well on the onvi's

cheers dude , funny enough think the standard wheels really suit the car , maybe it's just me though and for 270bhp and 270-290 ft/lbs i think the brembos are adequate maybe , better discs and s pads on track days

both came today £65 bargain but to be honest apart from more induction noise can't really feel performance difference it's a bit less eager low down for some reason

small update
8574820E-orig.jpg

80mm sfs tip fitted along with jetex open cone filter and forge 007p, the car feels ridiculous now , but does cough at 5k rpm but after doing logs i no why , fueling way off as said (DONT GET CHEAP MAPS) its doing 13.6:1 on WOT which dangerously lean so unplugged the n75 and running at actuator till next monday for a proper map :) , its coming along slowing .

for the keen eyes yes the toyosport catch can is mounted but not plumbed yet , waiting on my 19mm yellow sfs hoses and various yellow vacuum lines
