I'm looking to this but had a few questions..
How much did you pick the spare engine cover up for? (as the ones on ebay are abit steep in price, £70 odd i might aswell use my original cover)

After cutting the lugs off, what did you use to stick it back together?

I got the cover for £40 delivered it even came with the maf sensor. To stick it back together i used araldite glue. very easy to do.

car does seem more responsive and it gives off a lovely noise. need to get it on the dyno asap

Forgot to mention i also have Dark LED Style Hella rear lights also fitted to the rear photo's to follow

Evo just noticed your thread! These lights are these the ones Dave @ SERE advertised like 1-2 years ago? got any more pics?

OEM Rear lights look pink compared to the Red paint on mine

That engine cover looks smart! Hopefully try getting mine to look like that, cant find any cheap engine covers tried ebay even phoned a few scrapyards.

I had been looking for one for a while on ebay, also search for Audi S3 and Mk5 Golf engine covers.

Where did you get your engine cover from?? I am getting a piper cross fitted on Friday and the engine cover is going to need to be cut to go back on and fancy a one like yours, just blue where it is white!!

I had it off ebay mate. Is the tdi cover the same as the cupra? my old fr550 tdi had a completely different style cover

From what I can see under my bonnet it looks similar, may have to get some fine sandpaper and modify it myself!!

I can always pick up another if it does not work out!!

How come mate? going back to standard airbox?

Put the original cover back on and bought another carbonio with revo filter same as what I had before my pflow.
Want a quiet car again and also hope it improves my fuel economy slightly.
Fed up putting £75 a week fuel in mine and £35 in here diesel Leon.

I know how u feel on the fuel bills. it costs me £10 a day to go to work and back (40 mile trip) in the car so now i use my little aprilia rs125 for work which costs me £15 week
