Another busy day engine in workshop an fully striped an cleaned bits painted that needed doing gear box of order all parts in the morning little more cleaning rebuild fit it an run it in. Ooooooooo joy.

were all good again everything is back working an all the heating aswell. better than having it fitted under my dash etc or if cut out an fitted with out changing the double din you have to take the A/C fuse out as it runs all the time!

Sorry this is a bit random mate, but you've confused me here. Say i wanted to fit my stereo like you have, do i have to take the A/C fuse out everytime i want to turn it off? Or do you mean you had to do that before you fitted the stereo

I you just cut it out an fit it your ac will run all the time so will need to take the fuse out. BUT if you do cut it out all your heating controls don't work. Myn was cut down an re wired so everything works. Or you can just mount your cd player under the dash an join the wires. Hope that helped.

another update as ive been slacking!!!
so engine is out an got put in the back of my bargin estate all of £400 1 owner full service from vw

had some yellow film about me an dad got that sorted one evening with a nice cuppa tea...

so while that was out had a few other bits to do sold my old cooler for a bargin an a mate of a mate who knows someone hooked me up with this cheeky little number!! got the pipe kit of ebay for £60

the engine got taken down to my good man paul at vas works in poole an we got that bad boy ripped apart!!

this is piston 1 all the way to top gooooo me!!

yes yes im sorry to bore you again but i had nothing else to do..
so since my beautiful girlfriend has to put up with me chatting cars an bmx an other sh*t she got tickets for olly murs the other week in london so i packed my tooth brush and of we went on a lovely little trip. pretty much front row.. surounded by screaming girls an kids.

and on the train i found this flicking about on the net i want to go to a sleep over ot camping in a pizza sleeping bag

took my floor back out an put the seats back in for now see how it goes got my harnesses running in to the my seatbelt bolts under the seats look nice a neat.

so after a phone call today i got clutches sent to myn to try out running bigger power
i have a 6 paddle and a carbon kevlar lightened flywheel an everything else i need.. think then carbon one is going in as a may look like a t*at at work in the carpark at 5.30 trying to park at 3000 revs haha

What about a lighten pulley set?

Don't get a lightened pulley set they're known to destroy engines. Think Bill has a picture of a bottom end which went due to a "lightened" pulley.
