Just been out in town trying to get a few things. My aim was to get all the bits necessary to refurb a 225 wheel and also to tint and seal my rear lights.

1. At the co-op they only sold cherry blossom brown shoe polish which I nearly bought thinkin, well this must be the right stuff as there is no room for any ready wax!

2. At motorworld when I tried buying some tinting spray that they didnt have in stock I ended up in some big conversation about the new MOTs coming in and how all Spraying or tinting would now fail an MOT and as such you could also be pulled for it.

Am I right in presuming the MOT failure in question would be only to do with covering the reflectors?! So tinting would be allowed as long as the reflectors aren't tinted ie. just the top half or something.

Lol I bought whats on the link above to refurb my Lcr 225 steering wheel...and my shoes could do with a clean :). My plan for the rear lights was to tint all the red black originally, but with insurance doubts I think I'll go for something more like yours M20FES. I dont think I'll follow the lines though thinking more of a fade effect hopefully!
