How the feck do you change rear interior lights?

I pulled mine out to find out what bulbs they are as i want led ones but how the hell you get the bulb out. I have the factory fitted alarm in the rear lights aswell. I turned the little black bulb holder to get it out but it wont come out all of the way as it stops on the plastic so i cant actually get the bulb out. I started to take it apart and i reaslised the circuit board has a snap connector on it with a ribbon cable so i thought i would leave it at that and ask all you lovely people how to do it? I did twist them and the bulb holder come out with the blub but it didnt come out all of the way as the plastic got in the way. I guess it just takes a bit of force to get it out.

Anyone know what bulbs they are to save me messing around with them with new bulbs to go in? Cheers.

Thanks very much. Just been having a look at some and you can get the bulb that pushs in to the holder or the led in holder. I guess i would need just the bulb to push in as looking at it, the ones with bulb holder wouldnt fit as its a tight gap.

I used long nosed pliers when they were loose then wiggled them out.

I would of thought they wouldnt fit because they look much bigger than the standard ones and have trouble getting them past the plastic in to the hole. Have you use the same ones personally? Cheers.

Yeah but the back of that holder sticks out to far looking at it. What LEDS do you use them mate? Cheers.

Ah cheers mate. Seems like a lot of confusion on T4 or T5 lol.

The only thing with rear led's is there not very bright,i did read a thread that said you can get T5's with 2 leds which are brighter
