That sucks :( at least you got something in time that your happy with ! Yeah I was planning on popping over but there was a few people standing around and wasn't sure which girl was you .. If it even was so didnt wanna make a d*ck outta myself if it wasn't you haha . Who won best Leon ?

Yes ... i have to say i was not sure the first time i saw this car but i am really starting to fall in love with it. It is certainly one that will turn heads as it is not commonly seen!!

Love the white on pink!!

Me! :) lol & it's best SEAT not Leon lol :p

Ah nice one!

I might take those spacers of your hands at some stage.. although 20mm might be a bit much. I've been wrecking my brain the last couple of days trying to figure out how to sort the stance of mine out. Thinking of either compressing the front springs or new top mounts.. but will probably need to roll the arches.. and then just sticking a set of spacers in the back. Not sure who would do it though , your guy Peden with the D4M LO porsche lives round my way and I'd wreckon he'd do it but may charge a fortune. lol

I can't fit 20mm on with my 9.5 rears that's why there for sale :-(

I need something done with my front coils as far too high at front :-(

You can get away with a good 5mm lower with cliped on lining in the wheel arch rather than studded screws!!
Mine will be dropping 5mm more when i get this sorted to fall in line with the back.

Only noticing this thread now lol! congrats on the win at Dubshed Claire! how much are you selling the spacers for? are they just for the rears or fronts and rears?

I need to work this screw business out cause its been mentioned loads my front & rear coils are right down :-( the adjusters turn the tiniest bit & there off, I would take them off if I new how to the rears I can do no problem but I think rear sits pretty perfect just need front down :-(

Thanks Noel. They are a pair just I bought them for rears then ended up with different wheels. I was asking what I paid because they are brand new, I'll just check receipt... I think it's about £52/53

I might take them off you when i get paid! looking some more rear end stance! need to check ill have enough room first!

I had the same problem at the front for a while there and realised when i was taking my winter wheels off that mine werent turned right down! i turned them down another couple of turns and it left the car with a lovely nose down stance but they still have a couple of turns left in them to go lower again!

What coilovers have you got in? mine are the db automotive ones from NI-coilovers

That's no problem sure you can let me know.

Mine are FK Street. :-/ I have played with them numourious times so I'm certain there right down :-( damn need too look into it see if I can remove something to bring them down.

He's couple more pics of car at dubshed never mind us all in it but it shows the stance ATM & back I think is perfect. Front too high :-/

nice stance at the rear, think mines about the same height at the rear but your wheels sit wider than mine with about the same amount of camber :)

the front of mine is slightly lower over the wheel but looks high at the front due to the shape of the touring bumper i think (no splitter.... YET!) It might be something to do with the coilovers but it could also be to do with the size/shape of the engine or placement of the undertray as to why they arent made to go lower!

seems a very well looked after car and always looks its best! Im getting scared just watching you find out how low you can go! lol

You could put Polo 9n/Ibiza MK4 lowering springs in the front coilovers. Seen a few MK5 Golfs with those in, and they make it very low at the front.
Think the yellow Leon on Rota GTR-D that was at Dubshed has those in the front too.

That sounds interesting how does that work putting in different springs? Must getting looking into that as I'd love to get lower. I need a lower profile tyre on front as its scrubbing on that screw in arch so I haven't got the wheels on :-(

My wheels are 9.5 at rear that will be why. I'd very much love to put spacers in to see what it looks like lol :p

Really wish I could work out what's wrong that the front won't go lower :-( do you think there would be much difference between a FR and any other Leon for engine & undertray placement? I bought the splitter to make it look lower :-( it just annoys me when people walk past and say "sure it's not even lowered" :-(

Think its just a case of swapping your current coilover springs with the polo lowering springs. But you'd be better asking someone who's done it.
Could be a problem with the traffic branch though if they made you do one of them mobile MOT things, because the springs would probably be loose since they are shorter.

A lower profile tyre will also help.

lol!! do what makes you happy not everyone else! just dont lower it so much u end up catching something!!

Lower FTW! The point is to be so low you have to avoid things!

Im not sure if there would be much difference in engine shape/size but it could be possible! Ill do some research for ya lol! Used to work in SERE seat lol!

The only difference would be between the diesel engines and the petrol with the lower sump ? Although that's probably been covered lol I'm gonna look into changing the top mounts first as they're only like £30 and would give you a 10/15mm drop..
