Car looks amazing mate, absolutely amazing!

I hope to soon have mine looking close to that!

How did you tint your rear lights? Did you wrap them or spray them? They look really good on a black car!
Keep up the good work mate!

Thanks mate much appreciated!! Its not quite there yet though:( lot more i want done to it but money doesnt grow on trees unfortunetly so saving for a wee while then hit it with another phase of mods:D

The rear lights are just a spray!! Be wary of it though as i sprayed a good few coats on and the indicators then flashed red:( So ive got a wee circle where the indicators are clear so they still flash orange, just temporary for the now till i find a permanent solution. Its not noticable unless your right up close though which is good!!

Well spent last weekend in the nice weather giving the car a good going over!!

1. Full wash and dry of the car.
2. I started with a layer of tcut over the whole car.
3. I then gave it a full layer of colour magic to bring the colour up.
4. I added a layer of Autoglym super resin polish over the top of this to really make it shine.
5. Finally i added a layer of Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection to really bring the shine out and protect the paint.

Results below...

Quite impressed with it considering im usually fairly rubbish at this kind of thing:)

If anyones got any tips for making it even shinier then feel free to share your knowledge please:D

mcd90 - I would be too jealous coz black cars look shiny when first cleaned, 2 days later the car was absolutely boggin, the gritters being out on the roads hasn't done me any favours either:(

Dave - Ive acctually heard that HD wax is meant to be good, might need to add a layer over the top of everything else to see how well that brings the colour out!!

at £40 a pop it better be good wax! yeap same here. car is a mess atm =/

Ohhh i didn't realise it cost that much:O might need to save my pennys for some of that:(
Its quite funny with my car coz from the rear wings forward its always clean and the back of the car is just covered in soot!!

Yeah greg my dads got one of them bags, think his is green though, its worth about £200 but he got it free when his Alfa was in at that Stuart McKays garage for a valet!!

Looking good matthew :) Have you ever heard of claying the car? Also, HD wax is amazing on black cars and you can get it online for £25 or halfords are doing 3 for 2 at the moment so you could get a few pals to get a tub for themselves much cheaper than normal.

Sounds like what it is :) it's a small lump of clay that you rub over lubricated paint and it picks up a lot of the tar and other debris that's lodged into the clear coat of your paint. When I've clayed friends (neglected) cars after doing it they always look a million times better!
