Didnt you use axle stand whilst doin them your brave if you didnt them jacks arnt the best mate be carefull

iv got to do mine again but doin them black this time

The jack held ok but meant doing 1 brake at a time i didnt think we had axle stands but just as i was finishing my dad came in from work to inform me that there was a set stuck away in the back of the shed so shall use them for the rears where do the axle stands acctually go though? probs a stupid question but ive never used them before!!

Be carefull man tbey are really not good always use an axle stand when jacking a car up there are alot of storys wiyh them failin mine did but luckly i put my wheel back on in time . it can make a mess of your sill aswel.i always put a axle stand under subframe.on the rear just put it under the axle if you dont have any stands put your wheel under car keep your legs from under the car just incase also blocks of wood will do when jackin back end up put car in gear just dont start it up

Will deffinetly be using axle stands the next time lol just really wanted to get this done!

Also ive finally decided to get the engine cover gloss black, just looking for a battery cover first to get it all painted up at once!!

Theres 3 people on here that I know of in the last few weeks whose jacks have failed. A lad at works failed as well and he was underneath it about 5 minutes before hand. Sadly sometimes it takes the jack failing for some people to realise they are crap!!

When my car fell of a ramp from 6ft up i was under it a few mins before i tried grabbin the back end as it was starting to go

thanks mate!! Ive noticed that about the back of it aswell, looks quite low and wide from the back too... not quite sure how it seems euro though coz its no different to any other ibiza but i love it
