I dont think he drove it haha! He said there's nothing wrong with it! Except that i have no rear seat belts, when i took them out they wound back in and now wont wind out, so i have none!

Had a drive up to Newcastle on monday for a mates birthday, got there and back on 20 litres!

So the car got covered in flies and general road rust so i washed it yesterday and i was going to out my superT's on.
Got bored of cleaning the car, so i cleaned it, another coat of wax on the SuperT's and put them away!
Also got rid of more stickers.
Can you see where it was?
After a polish, seal and wax.

Prefer it like this. I'm just going to keep the car as clean and as well looked after as possible, going to give a paintless dent removal company a ring soon and get them sorted!

do what we did if your after a change in car dude. stick your 1.2 up for sale for a silly amount & let them knock you down a couple of hundred. then go 20vT hunting. i really wanted a standard one tbh but this came up at a price i couldnt refuse and id have done everything its got anyway. also, it seems you've taken my place in "cleanest yellow mk4 1.2 on the planet" 
Ahh right cool I live right near city centre, and cool are they still there heard they moved ? Also was it full system you got made and what gains did you see ?

The SuperT's went back on about a month ago, the ride's nice and crashy again now! But i don't care, the car looks way better with the wheels on!
Given it another coat of wax today, because the beading wasn't as good as it used to be.

Well ideally i want to get a new set and have them professionally sprayed in metallic black!
But funds etc.. got the misses' birthday in a month too, so im trying to save haha!
But i shall buy some double sided trim tape and get the painted ones on at some point in the future!

I'm thinking of doing my rubstrips in gloss black along with my mirror caps to fit the theme although I'm not too sure on what it would look like with the tints too.

Yea true. But anchrite on the red looks like a bit naff. I'm painting my rear valence black as I dont like the anchrite. Might even paint grills and front plate backing black as it all comes anchrite on the fr.

Yeah i think that'd work!
Inside my exhaust was looking tatty and it was covered in general crap, polish wouldn't touch it, so I bought a polishing attachment for the drill, which came today! So out I went!

Took a fair bit of time to do it, tried using it with AutoGlym metal polish and that just made it worse. Tried it without th polish, and it worked a treat!
I actually like exhausts when they look used. I don't know why but I hated my custom one when it first went on it looked hideous but once the inside got dirty I liked it lol.

Just wondering does the rear bumper need to come off for the balance to come off as I was planning on spraying it or wrapping it in gloss vinyl.

I've not looked into the rear valence on the cupra but I assume it's the same; clips on the top and about 5/6 t20 bolts.
