hi iv had my leon remapped from 105bhp to 161bhp and ino my turbo wouldnt really be capable of handling it has anyone changed a 105 turbo for a 140 turbo ino you could do this on the mk1 leons because i changed my 90bhp one for a 110bhp
it was done by ************s and was rempped to by them to that and tested on the rolling road with print out for it i duno how they done it they told me that normally a 105tdi is capable of around 150 after a remap
its a 2006 btw forgot to post that. it was a second remap it was remapped first time to 157.7 but i wanted a bit more so took it back and got it boosted abit more at no extra cost
it has a k&n induction kit and a full straight threw exhaust he has stood over it with a lifetime warranty for all the work done to it and the actuall car itself so if it breaks he will pay for the fixing of it
I've remapped cars like yours that have almost been royally f***** because it's pushed too hard by idiot tuners that give the rest of us a bad name.
Either that Or their rollers are crap!
he remaps for vw and audi here in Northern Ireland ino this because i have a cousin that is a seat mechanic and a mate who works for a vw dealer that use him he started the company here and now opeartes in england aswell
it took this guy 3 hours r so hes good at it
dont no if you have heard of the company T O R Q U E T R O N IX S
im keepimg it in if it shites itself then hes paying up i have it in writting from him
Sorry bud, I'm not meaning to pick hairs but you do know the 90 and 110 both use the same turbo unless the 90's a wastegate type?
@Putridmocha Regarding the map though I would've thought around an extra 40bhp would be about right with no other mods on a PD? Also what gets royally f****d by pushing to hard? The only thing that comes to mind would be a turbo detonation which I suppose if not caught super quick could result in a knackered engine due to debris.
I was thinking that by all the main remap companies its around 135-140bhp stage 1 so 160ish is a big claim but needs all the part upgrades to go with it
