Things are too vulnerable on this engine, the sumps lower there's smic pipes which could catch and if I leave the belly pan on it will be literally led on the floor! I've also got 17s now so no need really ill just go 40mm on springs lol I also may be getting a milltek downpipe decat and custom catbacl soon :)

Well this is my bodge as my pipe popped off this afternoon on way out of work!

After I put back together and limped home:

Taken off and this is the good end wrapped on ptfe tape which I done yesterday:

And the bad end which I have tried to picture showing that the notch has completely gone that the clip clips onto (top side of the part shown)

So this is how my bodge master father fixed it temporarily till he gets some massive tie wraps tomorrow as it still pops under boost!

Sam.

Do they sell the alloy fixings do they? I can't find them anywhere!

they do sell them and I can safely say not cheap lol i've just lashed out £110 on 6 alloy fittings

If you want, my FMIC is getting fitted on thursday so I will have the SMIC and bits going spare in the garage could see if any of the spare bits that I'll have are what you need?

Phil you are a massive leg end! Hit me up when you get your fmic mate and I'm sure we can arrange something a bit better than the £90 for the same hose from dave, can't imagine what it would be like from normal dealer!

not a problem mate, once its fitted thursday AM, i'll drop you a message on here with pictures to what came off the car and you tell me what you need and we'll sort something

Could I just take the fixing off the old pipe and fit the forge one to new one you reckon?

are you thinking, current alloy fitting onto forge pipework?
