who did u get them from?

Mr Silicone on ebay

Grille looks good I didn't bother laquering my grille, imo you don't need to mine still looks spot on with no stone chips.

I might repaint it then, I prefered it without the lacquer.

I wouldn't run those clips either. I had no end of boost leaks with them.

Interesting  thought they would have been better then jubilee clips.

There normally a gd seller got all my hoses and clamps from them. Not sure if there the same clamps I used hard to tell but iv never had any probs with mine as yet.

Think they wht I got there gd not had a problem with them just got to make sure there the right size and they don't av alot of adjustment.

Problem I found with Mikalors is they never seem to get any harder to turn when they get tight. If you're tightening them on to a pipe made of soft metal or plastic it's hard to know when is too tight and when isn't tight enough. I ended up under-tightening one on my original upper boost hoses and popped the hose at WOT - scary stuff when it happens for the first time...

Try JCS Hi-Torque, the jubilee-style ones. I got some from www.burtonpower.com but you can get them from ebay too.

Grille looks good, looking forward to seeing that fitted mate :)

Finally found the time to finish the front grill off:

Should be fitted next weekend along with the new FMIC :)

Yeah you done a really good job there. I'm making another one next week for another forum member.

Cheers gents[B)]

looking forward to getting it on

JMS - who you making one for mate?
Only thing I'm worried about is there is going to be a small gap where the number plate recess has been cut out.

I've ordered a magnetic numberplate and I've got magnetics for the back of the grill. So it'll be in the same place but easy to whip off for shows and stuff :)

The centre grill looks great Richard! It'll look really nice with the addition of the FMIC. Looks flawless!

By the way, I really liked your idea about colouring the cone filter! Did you use standard fabric die? I assume it's water proof (i.e. colour doesn't run id damp/moist)? Such a smart bay :)

Thanks James, the dye shouldn't run as far as I'm aware, my mam used to be a seamstress and still makes brides maid dresses ect for people in her spare time, so told her what I was after and off she went into town to find me the right stuff:) The only problem I found with dying the Jetex is the gauze is blue aswell so I had to use a permanant marker on it.
