Well I sold my intake very quick.
I thought the engine cover would have went first!!
It will look good lowered mate.

Im not surprised to be honest the pflow is very good value, if i hadn't got the twintake i would have had it off you. Drop Top Dog a pm he is looking for engine cover

Hi Evo

:help: haha

When you were modifiying the Engine Cover, which parts did you remove from the underside? Did you remove the whole housing or just cut away parts that were restricting the Twintake?

I have just bought the twintake but i am unsure what to remove and keep :)

Cheers

Basically you have to seperate the cover then cut away parts of the bottom section first so it clears all the pipework, then repeat on the top section. I managed to keep 3 of the mounts (two front and and rear passenger side mount).

I found it best to use junior hacksaw and file to take off the rough edges.

Any pics of it lowered mate ?

Still haven't seen you around in a while

Ste

Will get some pictures up tomorrow mate, car hasn't really moved for several weeks but i intend to start using it more soon so i will more than likely see you about soon. nice one with the turbo upgrade on yours its going to be a right wepon when you get that fitted and mapped.

Looks spot on. That looks a good compromise between looks and practicality. How do you actually keep your white wheels so white ?

Ste

Ride height is a lot better now and also feels more comfortable. wheels are a pain in the arse to keep clean it takes me hours to clean and wax, i keep thinking about having them sprayed gun metal grey but once there clean they look so good against the blue

Looking good.
You have done right by getting it a bit higher and letting them settle.

I went straight for the actual height i wanted and now going to have to get coilovers raised.

Selling up !

Well after just over a year of owning the car it looks like it going to be put up for sale:cry:, I need to free some cash up for a new motorbike purchase (honda cbr600rr):D and also downsize to a smaller economical car which will be my wheels for the winter.

Just need to sort out the advert:cry:
