I have experienced nankangs on a friends car a while bac and they were ok in the dry but treacherous in the wet, not much good for our current climate
I have the original bridgestone potenza re050a tires on my lcr and they are still going strong after 13k
They seem to offer a good balance of performance/ longevity/ price.

Are they wearing evenly? How is the road noise?
If there good enough on a curpra r there good enough for me

Wearing perfectly, swapped front to back wen the fronts were getting down a bit so I can replace all 4 at once wen the time comes. Had the tracking checked at this point to keep it in check.
As for road noise, I briefly had some Conti sport contact 3 fitted on a spare set of wheels and they were a little quieter than the bridgestones, but not a lot and they wear a lot faster.
I will replace with same again when the time comes.
