When travelling up hills or similar when a lot of power is needed, my car goes into limp mode and EML comes on. Ignition off and on and it will be fine again?!

Plugged a vag in an got fault code 17964 charge pressure - negative

Could anyone guide me as to where to start fixing this?
Also have a long drive on weekend, would it break my car anymore doing this?

Thanks! Pete

I would start at the vacuum hose between N75 and the VNT mechanism. Start inspecting it from the turbo side..!
Hose was split on mine, exactly the same symptoms and fault code!

+1 and as said above a boost leak could give the same symptoms.

Ahh right. Wel I had it cleared on the vag and hasn't came back as of yet...
If its does I shall check all hoses going to / from the turbo
