FYI - 4300K and 6000K are both considered white, but the 6000K leans more towards bluish white while 4300K towards yellowish white. It all depends on preference, but for me 6000K looks much better.

i got my terminator kit from we-sell-hids (ebay) for £68 but i still haven't worked out whether to buy some h7r's as they only sent me h7's due to stock issues and 4300k look great i personally think 6000k may be too blue and may look more illegal? but thats just me

You won't need h7r because the lenses are clear rather than like ridged

I'd suggest spending a little more and getting ones that you know will work, otherwise you'll be messing with returning etc.

Also i'd recommend 4300k or 6000k. 8000k will be more blue and therefore less light output and also more likely to be in trouble with plod.

Thought you needed h7r's if you don't have projectors?

H7r's are the ones with the top half blacked out right? To stop glare?

As you can see from my photo, my bulb pattern is no different to standard bulbs. Get h7r if you wish, but honestly there is zero glare off h7's in my car! :)

there's a 99.9% chance the £55 ones will bring up an error if you turn your lights on whilst driving, as regards to colour on standard halogens it seems anything over 4500k is illegal / non e marked

+1 that you should spend a little extra and get some that will be guaranteed to work!

I spent a good two months going backwards and forwards to the shop with sets of HID ballasts that my car simply didn't agree with! (Inclusive of "Canbus Pro").
I finally bought the "Terminator" kit from HIDs Direct (linky) and they work perfect, first time, every time, with no errors and no hassle!

8000k for me is asking to be pulled over, as they're noticeably blue. 4300k for me is a bit yellowy, so I went for 6000k and have never looked back!

You have to think about what YOU want from them though in terms of colour, and go for it!

Hope this helps :)

Thankyou all for your advice and help i have purchased a terminator kit from hids direct for 70 pounds
Got a 2 year warranty on ballast and 6 months on the bulbs
Is there a thread on here where someone has shown how to fit them?
