I wouldn't really know, mate, but I guess they'd fit and if they'll require anything, it'll probably be just a cable/converter from radioshack or so. I had BOSE speakers in my Mazda 3 and they were amazing, definitely much, much better than my Leon's speakers.

Yeah I might just get a car audio place get them to fitted only problem is they charge ££££s to do it

Better safe than sorry. You don't want to risk ruining anything while doing it yourself, unless some one else here can shed light on exactly how to do it. Perhaps it's easy, I don't know, but I've learned to be cautious with my Leon ever since the head light issue I had - these VAG cars are just complicated!

Mate get a picture of the connectors up that are on your bose speakers.

I've changed all 4 of mine to aftermarket speakers and its dead easy! Don't go paying an audio installer!

Did it make much of a difference

Sorry to hijack the thread a little but the standard speakers are awful

Erm, i changed my head unit before i changed the speakers.

Tbh the sound didn't improve much with the aftermarket head unit hence changing my speakers. Also installed an active subwoofer now, too!

I'd suggest you change the speakers then head unit!

Couldn't agree more. If only I was even just a little bit of an Audiophile, I would have definitely replaced the speakers with better ones; a good friend of mine owns a store that is specialized in car audio, so he could help me out a great deal. Don't know if it's worth the money, though, as I'd much rather pay a little extra and replace my RCD310 with a RSN510 or a Pioneer/Kenwood touch-screen device. Don't you think?

Standard speakers are sh*^e . Im looking for replacements at the moment

Anyone got any suggestions for replacements ? Carnt believe there is a audio section on this site :( !!!!!

I've been well impressed with my vibe slick 6 speakers that i bought from halfords. It migh be worth you popping down and giving them a listen in store. The audio guy at my atore recommended them and they really are a top speaker!

I know mosg people go for pioneer or alpine etc but i really like these :D

The standard speakers arent too bad

Ive got them setup with the same Pioneer avic system i used in my golf, the way its setup the speakers produce zero bass which is where my Jl audio w7 comes in :p

Ive had nothing but praises for my setup :D

I upgraded my OEM head unit to an RCD 310, I really like that unit, but if a cheap 510 came to my attention then I wold upgrade to that. My speakers are OK, could be better but fine for now. Upgrading to Bose speakers though...that'll be proper interesting to see how that goes.
