Thought I would put a new PVC on the car this morning... Idle is a bit lumpy but the revs and engine speed remain constant. After a bit of reading online, I thought I would replace the PVC first.

Fitted a triple r front splitter tonight.

I have always felt that the Leon front bumper sat too high compared to the k1 skirts etc

So here is a teaser pic, better pics to follow.

Dav

How much does the splitter stick out from the front of the car?

Looks like you'll be needing front brakes soon eh lol

Approx 40mm... It looks awsome!

It really needs to skirts to keep the levels the same... I love it!

With regards to the brakes... It's something I have thought about but money would be better spent in other areas just now. The brakes should cope with stage 1 ok.... But never say never! :)

Yeah, I keep tooin and froin with a splitter, I do like them but as daft as it sounds I don't know if I can spare 40mm in the garage lol. Space is at a premium :-(

Apart from the splitter I thought it was a shot of mine.

Ahhh.... My garage is/was for my bike

I'm sure you would manage, from the furthest front point of the bumper to the furthest front point of the splitter would be 20-25mm.... If you were fitting it you could get away with mounting it slightly further back too. Giving a few extra mm....

It was your car at crail, 2-3 years ago that I loved! So if I am copying its cause your car looked awsome :)

Ah, I MAY get away with 20-25mm lol.

Knowing my luck the garage door would come down straight onto the splitter every time I closed it. I've already moved the magic eye to be looking at reg plate as this currently sticks out the furthest lol.

Cheers matey. Had a blast at Crail that year, was a great drive up with DPJ. May get to do it again sometime.

Just had the new revo stage 1 software uploaded and rolling roaded!

310bhp and 280 lbft off the top of my head but I will post the graphs when I get a chance!

Car got a good bill of health so happy days, felt great on the drive home too!

I'm sure Michael will agree.... :)

Looks awesome! Did you message Triple R on facebook or buy it from the ebay site. Had a look but doesnt list any for our model.

cheers

Cheers nef, I hounded Kev ok both Facebook and eBay for ages to get the splitter but that was right from the development stages etc!

If there isn't one listed he is always willing to make one up with use of a donor car :)

did you have the revo map before the update? if som, was there a noticable different from the update.

cheers

yes i had the revo stage one map before, and then this newer file added.

power curves and torque curves seem similar, but with 10lbft and 3 bhp more..... iit runs alot leaner too.....

the throttle is controlled 100% by my right foot but i have yet to really give it a good go!

Popped in and spoke to Mikey and Matty last night and saw your wagon later when I was oot walking. Will need to catch up soon and check it oot :)

Yeah David its made a big difference was impressed.

Will need to get out the dueler for a proper go side by side lol
