Oil filter location

Does any1 know where the oil filter is in cupra mk2 and what tools are neede to change it???

It's on the bottom of the engine mate. Have to remove the engine tray on the bottom to get to it. Cant remember what my mate used to remove it sorry dude as I was fannying about on the laptop whilst he did it!

According to the manual, the Cupra has a paper filter and the oil needs to be drained from it first, probably to stop it becoming very messy. VAG do a special tool for it T40057.

Yup 36mm socket! got one from one eBay for my Car! Had to use a power bar for my first time doing the leon, apparently someone applied super human strength on my oil filter house
