How hard is it to fit the double din fascia from the late MK1 Leon?

I'd like a double din in mine.

Im pretty sure you would either have to cut out part of the console or find somewhere that you can get the console from a Cupra R as they came standard with double din. i havent done it myself but i think thats how you would do it

Double DIN (factory NAV) was an option on a number of MK1 Leons, definitely not standard on Cupra Rs. The reason the conversion is not common is that the dash parts are more than £300 or so from the dealers. The actual unscrewing of old and replacing with new is not that tough.
