theyve been around for years in fairness I thought they tended to be used on smaller engined cars?

Ive got one on my tdi sr . It came on the car so dnt really know if it made a difference or not . I dnt think they are rated very well on here tho , specially with the cupras and highend petrols . It makes a nice noise but as for performance i dnt have a clue and would like to know myself :) . Looks the part tho under the bonnet .

yes thats the one, looks and sounds good. I bought a jetex filter to bolt on not realising it had a filter installed and when i picked it up I was pleasantly suprised to see it had one installed.
Now should i keep it or sell it and put the jetex on instead? decisions!

BMC CDA's are known for reducing performance, the stock airbox is superior to it ,

fit the jetex, they're highly recommended on SCN

Cheers chap I'll have it off sharpish. Strangely though I saw them selling for around the £100 mark, Maybe that would explain Why they are so scarce!

P-Flo is not that good either, better than CDA and standard but still lacking and the price is stupid, i had one and ended up using the heatshield along with a jetex cone, much better all round.

Sucking in cooler air (cooler air = more hp). Without the heatshield, you will suffer heatsoak (the air around the engine is hot!). It makes a difference, but if you have the stock IC, its better to upgrade that first (charged air cooling is much more important).
