The thing that gets me is after it was taken off there was apparently no issues with the ko3s which is pretty impressive. Got to give it up for the design techies and manufacturers of it. It may be small but seems sturdy.

Im quite good friends with mylo and went to watch the mapping for his new turbo at r/tech last friday. Very impressive to see the guy work!

The old turbo was indeed immaculate! seems a shame to even remove it lol. He has had it for the last year running high figures and running it full pelt up the strip regularly I think got about 30+ runs at spring fest last year.

Not a single issue with that car. rock solid and just prove that if you care for it , it will last.

TBH i dont think anyone here has questioned Niki or his ability, he's obviously writing some very good maps giving great results
However starting threads like this having a dig is only going to annoy admin resulting in more bans
A long time ago when i hadnt been on here long, a member with an old leon sport who was localish to me had a problem with one of their maps, a discussion followed then legal threats hence the ban and the company name being asterix'd out
I dont blame mork for not appearing in here as it would be a 'firing squad' situation against him and enevitably end in more bans
Everyone has a choice on whatever mapper they choose to use, forum sponsor or not

If anyone is on audi-sport you will have seen that Prawns hybrid recently made 353bhp. Insane on such a small turbo.

........and who came up with the hybrid turbo spec? ;)

Other enablers are high flow 80mm TIP's like mine, V3 Relentless manifolds and WMI

Apply all of these and the gains are achieved with decent mapping

2+ years ago we had the same setup at 344bhp...........

There is more than one 1.8t tuner working with these hybrids............ and the threads still live in my section...

The Proven best k03 hybrid remains the one we did... 332bhp... K03 hybrid....

I have a lot of respect for niki and his work ethic and trying new stuff... on mapping etc
Thats one of the reasons we get on well... sharing info... etc All for the benefit of everybody. We both enjoy tuning cars and having happy customers.. We get a kick out of getting the best results from both the hardware choice and software techniques. Its all good.

Its a shame the history on here has *** the name. Wind the clock back with the benefit of heindsight and I would imagine it would'nt have been done. Given the other sponsor/tuner at the time, has not covered himself in glory either subsequently...

Too much negativity - no need of it.

Embrace the gains and performance.

Putting mylo's k03s results in context of comparing to bog stock k03s, no mods to actuator no meth but just custom mapped (me) is a polo gti plot against mylo's from the dyno day..

5psi stock actuator vs 12psi K04-001 actuator, no wmi vs 80% meth.... Actuator shows what being stiffer achieves in holding boost like no other k03s i have seen... and 80% meth wmi allowing decent timing and lower egt's despite working the baby k03 hotside hard.

Polo from me was max from an un-modified K03s... same peak torque as mylo's, but actuator being softer not holding boost (torque) and no wmi goodness for extra timing (torque)

blue plot is my custom map on the polo, red is niki's on mylos modded machine

I know Bill. This is why i'll be giving you a shout come turbo time :)

I'm sure nobody is questioning the qulity of your work Bill, we all know your a top notch tuner. The work you've done on the hard wear and soft wear side of things has been vital in moving the game on. It's fair enough that Niki was band for what ever reason (wheater we agree with that or not). It's just a shame that the is censorship stops members on this forum from seeing the bigger pickture. It's saddening to see Mylo banned when he helped people on here so much.
I don't give a dam my self about the politics. I come on hear to learn about my car and have a laugh.

the politics on assorted forums, FB pages is rife...

each has their axe to grind..

spend less time dissing each other, and more on the VAG brand they choose to enjoy would make it better all round.... but some "wounds" run deep and this is'nt likely to happen unfortunately.
