Not much mate only a small drive earlier, it does seem more responsive and louder than the 007p though :D I will give it a full test once all the clutch and diff work is done.

Good choice mate, the 11 & 16mm combo works well. I did see them doing those deals everyday but I must resist!!! You got your eye on another buy? ;)

Im not sure if mines louder, pretty sure its more responsive, might put a shim in and see how it feels with that.

Thanks, i havent no, i really need to stop spending but if a good offer comes up i might just have to splash out again!

Top stuff, get those spacers on :)

Also noticed that Awesome are doing several deals so will be keeping my eyes open

Will do just waiting for my locking wheel nuts to turn up now :p

You looking for anything in particular

Lost a little bit of love for the car today, its got a damaged wheel, i keep damaging the splitter, and its filthy :(

I can hear a slight rubbing noise too when turning so i might raise it up a little bit, still got the spacers to fit but hopefully if my locking wheel nuts turn up tomorrow i can get them on saturday

Man up mate ;) :D

You'll get the love back I'm sure. I've gone off mine and back on it so many times I've lost count.

Mods and a clean if you get time will sort it, or a good drive ;)

It'll come back soon enough buddy. A good clean always makes the Leon look special in my biased opinion... It's winter time, so come spring I'm sure you'll have all the nigggles sorted. We're all in the same boat. Sounds like you've made some headway with the performance mods, which I 'm envious of. I'm sure it drives well?

The depth of the arches are quite narrow at the front, so when turning in on 3/4 lock+ it can catch (mainly on the arch liner). I found with a 10mm spacer, it made a difference, so hopefully you won't have to alter the ride height too much, if at all. I use a 5mm spacer now that I can lift the front freely. These cars do sit really nicely.

Keep it up mate; a really nice '05 example! :)

Oh, and there was me thinking I was happy with the Split-R, after a 007p in the early days. 008p seems to be getting good reviews, low down response in the rev range especially... I don't want a 008p now

Thanks, like i say think i had an off day in general, was trying to do crimbo shopping and couldnt park any where A) cus it was busy and B) couldnt get in some places :(

It does drive a lot better now, feels a lot sharper, im lookingbforward to getting a lot more handling mods on but think im going to have to wait a little while yet.

I got 11mm and 16mm spacers to go on hopefully today so i probably wont alter the height if all is good when i go for a test drive, need to get it wheel alligned soon as well.

Thank you, when i get on a computer i'd like to have a look at yours, think i may of seen an RR some where but cant remember.

I was looking to get an 007 but when i saw the price difference and it was explained to me what the 008 had compared to the 007 it was an easy choice for me, plus awesome had a nice bit of discount off it :) if you get the chance you should get one, im impressed with mine

Way too soon for you to be getting annoyed with these shitters :p

We all go through these moments, it will pass for sure. Usually catch the bug and love for the car after a show

With mine, it was the back end that was transformed the most with the spacers on. Looks so much better for it. Glad you're happy with the transformation :)
