You can make that sort of power with a standard looking engine bay. I'd hazard a guess that its not making that power though. No mention of rods being done. Doesn;t say what turbo, injectors or cams its using.

Its either got the power and hes rubbish at writing a description, or someone has sold him all these parts, told him thats what it'll do and he's clueless

Its also down about 100nM from where it should be at that power level

Very true, the figures don't match up, at 4000RPM you'd need ~ 520Nm to make that power
 
I spoke to him, as was interested in it for my brother, he is a Mercedes mechanic if I remember?
He said its a Motorsport turbo lol

"Mercedes mechanic" doesn't mean anything tbh, especially if he's sayin it's a motorsports turbo pmsl...surely if he was a mechanic he would know turbo differences!! Sounds to me like he's done a couple of mods and a stage one an said 'that adds 10, that adds 20', so on so forth.

I'd steer well clear!
 
Yeah stabdard looking breaks plus no boost gauge. Id wanna no what was going on woth the power. Probly running like 220bhp with torque turned up id say.

i would definitely want an inter cooler with that set up! with the parts hes listed it is possible but as already mentioned it has had no upgrades in the brakes department or internal parts such as rods valves springs etc... definitely avoid

it'll have 312s with AP Racing 4 pot calipers, a SEAT FMIC and the rods, valves etc don't need upgrading at that sort of torque?

Very true

But 293bhp on these is big turbo territory and if you've gone to all that effort surely you'd know more about it than calling the mods "Motorsport".

Also why run the standard exhaust with that as well as standard ride height (not to mention air box)

Sounds like a complete load of lies to me
 
is the standard exhaust 2.5 inches from the turbo back, think mine was 2.25 and the ad says it has a sports cat, standard airbox will be OK. not everyone feels the need to run their car really low - I know mine wouldn't be considered low but that doesn't change the fact it's running a big turbo

Lowering is essential in my eyes running that kind of power.

The car is so painfully standard it's obvious he's lying.
 
The over use of "motorsport" does it for me. I could name the make and part specifics of every aftermarket part on my car if I was selling it... Id also provide receipts

looking through his feedback he is buying and selling jap scrap from integra's the only other car he has sold was a peugeot 306 d which he got negative for as id died on the buyer when he got it home :cartman:
 
312s are pants, seat sport coolers are pants at any sort of boost, and rods do NEED upgrading at that power unless you want to find one in ur lap one day :lol:
