Bry has got my order :)

I spoke in depth about 2 years ago with a few of my SEAT UK contacts about getting plaques made for the K1's that SEAT UK released as "K1's" they would release the "build number" for them but wouldn't make the plaques

Unfortunately the contacts i had have since moved onto Porsche and SEAT Italy.

i dont see the point?? if its not a limited number and a specifc number in that range why would you want to advertise that your car is the 89000th leon to come out?

At the end of the day it's up to the individual isn't it ?
I've got one in my edition 30 interior and one in the engine bay mainly because its a numbered car but also because they look good !

I've got one in my mk2 GTI aswell because its something I think adds a special touch to the car and draws the eye on the interior. Its also unique to the car and numbers it on a grander scale. You never know you might even have a really cool number like 80085.

At the same time why did I boost my cars bhp by 140bhp? I can only do 70mph :)

So would they do one then for a 'cupra' ?
I dont have an 'R' but may be interested in a plauqe for the cupra if ever they could find it out

So am i right in thinking then that if i provided 'gobbleplease' the last 6 digits of my vin/chassis number he could then find out what build number it is?

It's me that sells them, I've got no contact in seat although i did contact seat to see if it was possible to get individual build numbers for uk cupras and R's, although due to the masses of time it would take them they declined. Your build number is extracted from the vin number there is no contacting people on my behalf to get a number, the number you will have is your "production Number" this is the number your car rolled of the production line and is unique to your car.
I charge for the plaque, you get an oem sized plaque with oem plaque lettering which is deep engraved and coloured !

I've made loads up for mk5 golf GTIs using the same numbering (by production) as i would use on the cupras, cupra R and cupra K1

I've also made up plaques for edition 30s using there unique build numbers, aswell as plaques for my own mk2 golf gti and other mk2 owners.

The plaques are supplied with an alcohol cleaning wipe and 3m double sided sticky tape and I can make them up for any seat be it an Ibiza cupra, cupra r or k1

Cheers

so its just the plaque people are paying for rather than the actual number because the vin number is unique to every car?
