After a day of searching the internet while at work for some lowering springs and shock kit ive found 2 that i fancie the look of. The JOM suspension kit 40mm £160 or the Vogtland sports lowering kit 35mm £250. Anybody used either of this kits, not sure whether to stick to budget kit or spend the extra cash and get the Vogtland ??

I've got the Vogtland Sports lowering kit ... the springs are excellent - the dampers are **** hence I replaced the dampers with SACHS gas units.

Did you keep the standard top mounts in ? Not sure to get new ones for when I install the kit

JOM have now stopped doing the springs and shocks kits because of problems and only list coilovers so this is something to take into consideration.

The Vogtland kit is a much better quality option though.

The full kit is £250.00 all in so you do get what you pay for as with most things in life but out of the two options the Vogtland is the better quality without question.

Would it be ok just to use the original mounts with the vogtland kit ? Doing this on a budget haha

New ones would be worth while with the suspension being off but just check them before fitting if you wanted to use your current ones.

Can someone link me to a place where I could buy top mounts from or how much I should be paying for them ?

I don't think SERE are selling things on here anymore, I asked for top mounts and bearings but got no reply for days so I bought powerflex, just to get a reply saying their not using this site now or something.
