Specific Cupr R build numbers would be cool.

Cheers for posting pics ! :) Has the cupra got a space for the plaque on the ashtray ? Centre console area ?

Nice idea but..

£20 for something worth a few pence and a random number?...

A good place could be between the Hazard warning switch and gear stick if there is enough room. Or behind the lock/unlock switch on the centre console?

Gotta agree with Ben on this one, may as well just pt your chassis number on a plate IMO

Now if you could get hold of build numbers for the LCR than that might be cool

im working on it, got a few contacts at SEAT HQ in Spain aswell and luckily one of them speaks good english :)

VIN numbers seems to be mean nothing, as Al has just pointed out his VIN is lower than mine.. but his is alot newer than mine, It wudnt suprise me if LeonCR's VIN is lower than mine aswell

Ive just had a suprising message from a person whos got his build sheet from Catalunya, His number is Nxxx/900 ( i think it means his car is number xxx of 900) so this looks promising

According to that how manys left website there was 331 LCR's on the road in GB in 3rd Quarter 2012, so roughly another 600 in other countries (Mainly Spain,Germany,France,Italy,Romania,Bulgaria) sounds about right

Im working on it now, ive got the contacts i need now so keep watching the forums, if i can get the answers i need there will be a stick thread at the top saying how to get your official LCR build number, bit like the K1 thread i did a few years ago.. apart from the K1's never got an official build number

If the guys with the cupra r's who have purchased a plaque manage to get an actual build number eg number 3 of 900 ill happily make you it up for free
