Should be done at 50k mate or 4 years. Water pump is changed aswell. If yours hasnt been done already I would get it done asap. Mine was done by Seat and have receipt for £290
And there's a school of thought that recommends also replacing the auxiliary belt and its tensioner - it adds nothing to the job-time.
I had my LCR's done recently and when removed/inspected, the aux tensioner's bearing was a tad 'sticky'...

Yeah mate including belt kit,waterpump and coolant. There also fit a green thermostat as the original can fail mine got one fitted but not sure when that was done,
You paid £290 - incl parts, labour and VAT - for a cam belt change on an LCR?? Where?? Are the parts pukka VAG or 'eBay specials'??

I have got a receipt from Seat at home mate wether the bloke got discount I dont know but alot of the servicing was done at the same place. Ill take a pic when I get home.

But to clarify:
- you've confirmed the receipt is dated 2009
- the labour charge was only 1.25 hours - it's a 3- to 4-hour job
- it would seem the "T/belt kit" did not include tensioners?
No offence, but the above isn't 100% helpful to the OP? It's a bit like someone asking, "What's the cost of a tank of petrol for a Leon?" And then replying, "I have a petrol receipt for £58", but ommiting to point out that it's 4 years old

1.8/1.8t - 60k or 4 years (£3/400)
2.0fsi/tfsi - 60k or 4 years (£3/400)
1.9tdi ve - 60k or 4 years (£250/300)
Early 1.4/1.9 pd - 40k or 4 years (£3/400)
Late 1.9 pd - 60k or 4 years (£250/300)
2.0 pd - 60/80k or 4 years depending on chassis number (£3/400)
1.6/2.0 CR - 80/100k or 4 years depending on chassis number (£350/450)
Those intervals are a rough guide as they are subject to regular change, NEVER go off the intervals given in the service book as they are often out dated. The VW group recommend all belts are changed every 4 years regardless of mileage - probably to A. Cover them against failure and B. drum up extra work.
