Do all you southern fairys live within about 5 mins of each other! Hehe

New seats are gonna look great mate.

Haha, couple within 5-10 mins... You want to come live here it's the place to be ;) Lol.

Cheers mate :D Can't wait.

They look very nice indeed. How much do they weigh compaird to the LCR seats?

Thanks mate :)

I'm not sure re the weight.. will probably find out though. Not too fussed they're a bit heavier. For any track time I'll take the rears and maybe front passenger out. They're so much nicer than standard seats I can confirm after sitting in Dan's in the R32 last night.

Interested in his also. I need to take some weights of my new wheels in comparison to LCR wheels too.

Ultra's are surely a bit lighter mate.

Standard LCR wheel from another thread on here:

'They weigh 10.5kg and about another 10-11kg for a tyre'

Ultraleggera stats from measurespeed.com...

OZ Ultraleggera
Cast
18x8
18.6 lbs / 8.4 KG's - So James you're saving 2KG a wheel vs LCR Ronal's, so 8KG in unsprung weight overall.

Just need to work out the difference in our seats and the standard LCR one's now..

EDIT* Looks like I might have to change my wheel choice as they are heavier than the standard alloys by 1.5KG at 12KG each. With the added weight I'll need big turbo! Lol.

Enjoying reading of all the wheel talk and choices at the moment :). But one thing i will say is how good a wheel choice the LCR standard wheel is both in terms of looks and weight.

Yeah, it's not good for my wallet though mate.. lol.

LCR alloy at 10.5kg per wheel is decent. Not much more than the average common track wheels people go for around 8kg or so.

I need to go back to the drawing board with my choice for new wheels as they're too heavy. Could just get some Pro Race 1.2's and keep the LCR alloys, they still look decent today agreed.

get ultra's?

I wouldn't mind :)

Lol. Nice wheel but I couldn't be the same lol... Also too much £££!

Pro Race 1.2 could edge it for a track wheel and just to run something different and a bit lighter. The 18x8 are 9KG each.

Is Aaron (Probee) getting rid of his LCR, or just fancying a change? It was/is such a nice car. He had some some lovely 19s from what I remember. Enjoy tomorrows visit.

I don't think he's getting rid mate. I will have a chat with him tomorrow :) I hope that's not a hint to ask about wheels? :p

His car is one of the best LCR's going. Looking forward to the trip up.

Didn't take a pic of the rears but they are absolutely MINT! Aaron kept these so so well. Very happy with these! Not cheap but well worth it :D

First impressions on my gruelling drive home down through central London [:@] was that they hold you in so well! I wish I had the heating loom installed even for today though. I'll have to get that sorted in good time.

Does anyone know if the MK1 Leon had heated leather seats from factory at all? Was it the pre facelift Cupra's? If so, I need to know what the switches are like...

Pretty sure the cupra had heated leather as an option which should give you the appropriate loom and then chop and changes the connectors if nessecary.

Cool, that's what I'm thinking too. A couple of people are talking this up on my facebook aswell as I posted a pic.

Certainly something I'm going to look into. Did you get a loom or any switches with yours mate?

Nope, Going to try and buy the dash surround for the heated switches, although don't really drive my car in the winter so don't really need the heated element that much.
