Does any one else get extremely condensates windows. It takes me forever to clear them. And happens all the time. It also leaves drying marks so I then have to clean the windscreen.

Not generally but have recently after I had a fail moment (used the windscreen wipers to push a load of snow off the windscreen... whilst the drivers door was open)

Mine take a while to clear first thing what with being a diesel etc but in general usage, I can't say I've noticed it being a problem.

Mine to seam to steam up a lot, Unsure why.

can anybody recommend a good temprature to keep the Aircon/Climate on because in my car its either always too hot or too cold, never just right.

What does the Auto setting actually do, just seems to turn th r Aircon on?

Thanks

My car is suffering from this and it's an absolute nightmare, mainly on my back window. Nothing seems to cure it :(

Try using this:

I dont know the English word for it, but it absorbs the condensation in the air. Just make sure it doesnt fall over, because once dropped in the lil bucket below, the water becomes really sticky. hehe

I sadly have one headlight that condensated like mad. Looks horrible. :(

My windscreen is a nightmare.

Was thinking earlier that I should post about it and low and behold as if by magic thread already started.

The inside of the screen is so bad I have to leave a towel in the car to dry it at the moment. When its freezing I have to actually scrape the inside of the screen. In my mind thats shocking for a brand new £17,000 (book price!) car. Takes me 10 min every morning before I can even get off the drive!!!

Has anyone ever raised the issue with dealers? What response/action has been taken. Would be nice to know any experiences as I will be calling them tomorrow morning.

Guys I had the same problem ! I use Rainx on the outside windows. But soon as I used it inside it seemed to solve the problem... Dirty windows ! Still does it on very cold mornings tho ! A/c seemed to sort it tho.
And like above, get yourself a dehumidifier, constantly getting in the car with wet shoes ect can't help any car !:(

Same here, I ended up getting a full car cover. Problem solved.

But should we really have to do this with new cars?
