would you say tehre is an issue with his car

to me look like he has old code looking at the peaks about 3000 rpm or stage 2 not 2+ Code

from Tim - I have Miltek Turbo Back, Uprated fuel pump internals, rs4 fuel return valve, ITG intake and a forge recirc valve and Revo Stage 2+ Have you got an intercooler? wandering if thats where im slacking? Mines only 340bhp

Cheers Lee, any suggestions? I know when it was on the rollers clive said that the car was correcting knock a little due to high intake temps.

Also since then I have replaced clutch and flywheel? Maybe worth putting back on the dyno?

However I do wander if the file is Stage 2 and not 2+ like it should be?

Well the ambient temperatures were way higher on the s3 so i wouldn't expect the same results as wee g
Also bigger transmission losses on s3 i would guess.
I dont know how much you could expect to lose with over 15 degree temp difference.

What did the Dyno operator say?

It does look a bit bumpy? Does it drive okay regardless how the Graph looks?

It could be anything mind you from DV boost leak to PCV leak... Software needs adjusting/updating

GL though!

think thats the problem Tim isnt aware he just accepted it as is.

didnt think of PCV Leak. i did mention the Forge DV might be culprit as im sure i read on here it did more damage that good.

DYNO LOTTERY aswell comes into this... but thats a big difference

Either hes running the old 2+ code (Graeme's is the most upto date code)

you do know that the S3 has different springs and cause missfires?
Revo have a specific code for the S3 to map out the missfires.

it looks like his timing is being pulled left right and centre and i think thats probably whats up

It has the BSH PCV blank so thats ruled out. The software was new that week when the car was mapped, I originally took it in the week before for mapping but clive did tell me there was a new release coming within the next week so I waited for that. I dont know if there is a newer one since?

Shouldn't the valve spring problem have been fixed under warranty? I know not all of them did it just some had the wrong springs fitted. It would have misfired as standard with the wrong springs let alone at stage 2+

Yeah there is no misfire on the car. There was knock correction due to intake temps because of the ambient temp though. But dont know how much difference that would make.

It could all be down to his settings. He may be running far to lean, (hence timing pull) the boost may not be coming in as hard. the timing could be to low/high?

You can tell that car is pulling timing almost straight away at 3k. Tell him to knock his timing back and richer up thd fuelling

If the dyno is set up differently though or the operator does something different?

Hence why i no longer like Dyno's there's so manyy factors

Need logs to advise. My mates S3 (Revo Stage 2+) was also way down on power. We thought it was an intercooler hole until we changed the diverter valve and it jumped back up :)
