No bother mate. I really need to have a go in one first I think. My old Evo was running 350bhp and about the same torque and it made my spine tingle every time I gave it the beans so I'd expect a stage 2+ Leon with a bit more power to do the same.
gave the leon its last clean/polish yesterday for the new owner, and it has just been handed over! sad to see it go...

Rich - I'm running a 51 plate caddy van, spending money on my house for the time being. I may get a cheap fun car or bike for summer but if plans go the way I want it will be an Evo 8 fq mr 340 or if I can a 9 fq mr 360! Although I haven't ruled out a WR1

Go for the 8. The 9 has jumped into the expensive tax bracket now. Plus the 8 has a better lookin front end.
True but money isn't the problem, sometimes it's nice just to get the best at the beginning but I Understand where your coming from tho... Guy I work with has a 360 and its 100% standard
getting the best at the start is nice m8,but as you know the modding side of its nice to put your own stamp on it

Not used this forum in a while, however i thought i would share my car history after selling both the ibiza cupra and leon cupra within a few months of each other.
Sold the Leon to fund needed home updates, so bought a caddy van:
this was actually brilliant, so practical and also meant i never had a hire a skip and have that on fresh tarred driveway. ****ing clean van....
after the bulk of the stripping was done the van was no longer needed it was sold after a few hours on gumtree. I then decided i wanted a cheap toy for some B road blasts....
Whilst i hunted for the right car i ran this.... Suzuki ignis 4Grip (parents spare car)
And my old mans Merc E350cdi with brabus goodies
Found the B road cheap toy
Clio 172 cup....
As fun as this was for a few months, i felt i wanted a change back to turbines.... love some boost....
I was then asked if my car was in fact for sale and the deal done.... took this in P/X with cash in my hand.... easy to sell 1.2 clio campus
